Renidy User Agreement

Effective Date: October 8, 2025

This User Agreement ("Agreement") governs your use of Renidy.com, its mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"), operated by Renidy Inc. ("Renidy," "we," "us," or "our").

By checking the box and creating an account, booking a service, providing services, or otherwise using the Platform, you ("User") agree to this Agreement and all related policies, including:

This Agreement applies to:

Families or Clients who book or purchase services, sessions, or products; and
Doulas or Professionals who provide such services through Renidy.

1. Purpose and Scope

Renidy provides a neutral technology platform that connects users seeking end-of-life or bereavement support ("Families") with independent professionals ("Doulas" or "Professionals") and with vendors offering funeral-related products.

Renidy does not employ, manage, supervise, or guarantee any Professional, vendor, or third-party provider. All Professionals act as independent contractors, and all vendors act as independent businesses.

Renidy facilitates scheduling, communication, and secure payment processing only.

2. User Responsibilities

Families

Provide accurate booking details, contact information, and delivery addresses.
Understand that session results, emotional outcomes, or vendor performance are not guaranteed.
Agree to the payment, refund, cancellation, and non-refundable fee rules outlined in Renidy's policies.
Communicate respectfully and on time with Professionals.

Professionals

Operate as independent contractors, not employees or partners of Renidy.
Maintain all licenses, certifications, and professional standards required for your services.
Keep your rates, hours, and profile information accurate and up-to-date.
Use the Platform's tools (scheduling, timer, logs) honestly and accurately.
Accept that payouts are net of Renidy's marketplace and payment-processor fees.
Authorize Renidy to offset future payouts for refunds, chargebacks, or platform violations.

3. Marketplace Fees and Payments

Renidy charges a non-refundable platform or marketplace fee for access to its scheduling, matching, and payment systems.
This fee is disclosed before checkout and retained in all cases.
Payments are processed through Renidy's secure third-party processor; users agree to that processor's terms automatically.
Renidy may receive a small commission (0.5–5%) from vendors or partners. This does not affect user pricing or professional payouts.
By booking or accepting a session, you authorize Renidy to hold, capture, and release funds according to the Payments & Policy Agreement.

4. Communication Tools and Data Security

Renidy's in-app chat, voice, and video tools operate in a HIPAA-compliant environment that is audited for privacy and security.

Files and messages shared within these tools are encrypted in transit and at rest and fall under HIPAA protection.

Files or documents uploaded or stored outside of the HIPAA-audited environment (such as checklists, document vaults, or planning tools) are secured under AWS-managed encryption (AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.2+ in transit) and private access controls.

These are not part of the HIPAA-audited system unless and until Renidy extends Business Associate coverage to that environment.

Renidy continuously monitors its systems for unauthorized access and reserves the right to suspend or delete content that violates this Agreement or applicable law.

5. Refunds, Cancellations, and Grace Windows

Refunds, cancellations, and grace-periods are governed by Renidy's Refund & Cancellation Policy and Payments & Policy Agreement, which form part of this Agreement.

In summary:

Platform fees are always non-refundable.
Tier 3 sessions include a 30-minute grace window for Clients; opt-outs before 30:00 are prorated, after 30:00 are fully charged.
Renidy may hold deposits or delay payouts during disputes until attendance and completion are verified.
Refund decisions are based on platform logs and timestamps and are final once issued.

6. Funeral Product and Vendor Terms

For physical items such as caskets, urns, flowers, or memorial bundles:

Products are sold and shipped directly by independent vendors.
Title and risk of loss transfer to the Client when the vendor ships.
Renidy does not own, handle, or guarantee any shipment or product performance.
Refunds or replacements follow the vendor's policies, not Renidy's.
Renidy complies with the FTC Funeral Rule, ensuring transparent pricing and user freedom to choose vendors.

7. Dispute Resolution and Chargebacks

Users must report disputes to [email protected] within three (3) business days of a session or delivery.
Renidy reviews all available records (timestamps, communications, logs) and acts as a neutral facilitator.
Chargebacks filed outside Renidy's dispute process violate this Agreement.
Renidy may suspend accounts, retain deposits, or offset future payouts to recover related fees.

8. Liability and Indemnification

Renidy does not guarantee emotional outcomes, service quality, or vendor performance.
Renidy's total liability in any transaction is capped at the platform fee collected for that transaction.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Renidy, its officers, and affiliates from any claims arising out of your use of the Platform, including disputes, cancellations, data sharing, or communication misuse.
Renidy is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Termination and Account Suspension

Renidy may suspend or terminate accounts at its discretion for:

Policy or payment violations;
Abuse of grace periods or chargeback processes;
Misrepresentation of credentials;
Fraudulent, illegal, or unsafe conduct.

Termination does not affect outstanding financial obligations or pending transactions.

10. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

All users agree to:

Attempt informal resolution with Renidy Support first; and
Submit unresolved claims to binding arbitration under Delaware law (Federal Arbitration Act).

No class or collective actions are permitted.

Each party bears its own legal costs.

11. Updates

Renidy may modify this Agreement at any time. The most recent version will always be available at renidy.com/legal. Continued use of the Platform means you accept the updated terms.
